The distribution network under NLBC includes Main Branch Canals viz; Indi Branch Canal, Jewargi Branch Canal, Mudbal Branch Canal, Shahapur Branch Canal, Indi Lift Canal and sub systems. Fire & Emergency Services in Karnataka was first established in the year 1942 in Bangalore South & North under the administrative control of the Police department. Later, during the reorganization of the state, a few more fire stations at Bellary, Hospet, Mangalore, Udupi & Raichur were added to the Karnataka State. This system of functioning of fire services under the administrative control of the police department was continued till the enactment of Karnataka State Fire Services Act in 1964. Under the provisions of this Act, a separate Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services was created on 05-11-1965. Since then the department is working under the administrative control of the Director General of Fire & Emergency Services. Normally this post is held by an officer of the rank of Director General of Police. The Director General of Police also functions as the Commandant General of Home Guards, Ex-officio Director of Civil Defence and Karnataka state disaster response force.

The free Arogya Kavacha (108) Emergency Response Service was launched on 1st November 2008 with a fleet of 113 ambulances spanning across in the Karnataka state. The 108 Emergency Response Service being managed and operationalized by GVK-EMRI Karnataka (Emergency Management and Research Institute) operating in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode and currently covers all districts of the state with 710 ambulances deployed at various strategic locations throughout the state. There is one ambulance for a population of ninety thousand in the state. There are about 2000 trips made by all the Ambulances in the state, on an average, each day and about2000referrals, on an average, each day. There is greater utilization of the 108 service for pregnancy/labour and Road Traffic accidents.

Several programmes have been organized for all round development of fisheries. Under this scheme, the development of inland fisheries, marine fisheries, brackishwater aquaculture, ornamental and recreational fisheries, adoption of new technologies, post-harvest, cold chain infrastructure, fish feed mills, fish markets and fisheries infrastructure are being provided financial assistance. Under the said scheme, subsidy of 40% of the unit cost is provided to general category beneficiaries and 60% for women, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe beneficiaries.

"Chief Minister’s Raitha Vidya Nidhi Programme” was launched on 05.09.2021 to focus, motivate and facilitate the children of farmers who reside in rural areas, where higher education facilities are lesser and thus cost of education increases when they go to urban institutions.
From 2006-07 to 2019-20, LIC was the From 2006-07 to 2019-20, LIC was the Financial partner of the Scheme. An amount of Rs. 19,300/- in the name of the first beneficiary of family and an amount of Rs. 18,350/- in the name of the second beneficiary of the same family will be deposited with the financial partner institution as initial deposit. On attaining 18 years of age maturity amount of Rs.1,00,000/- will be made available to the beneficiary. From 2020-21, the Bhagyalakshmi Scheme implemented through the Sukanya Samruddhi Account Scheme through the Postal Department. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs.3,000/- per annum is deposited in the name of two children of BPL families in Sukanya Samruddhi Account scheme for 15 years. Approximate maturity amount will be Rs.1.27 lakhs. “Withdrawal up to a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of the amount in the Account at the end of financial year proceeding the year of application for withdrawal shall be allowed for the purpose of education of the account holder.
Bharamasagara Tank Filling Scheme
Before the commencement of the season based on the likely area to be sown, the fertilizer requirement is estimated and submitted to Government of India. After the receipt of company-wise fertilizer allocation from Government of India, district-wise, product-wise, companywise supply plan is drawn in consultation with the concerned manufacturers and distributed through Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies and private retailers to the farmers.

In view of improving the ecosystem, enhancing bio diversity and the hydraulic and as well as improving the quality of life /environment, it is proposed to take up these tank restoration projects. The major components taken up under Lake rejuvenation programme include Chain link fencing to boundary, Construction of diversion drains, Desilting, bund formation, revetment, construction of silt traps, waste weirs, pathway etc. "
"The total length of primary and secondary storm water drains is about 842.00 kms. The project of Construction / Remodelling of Primary, Secondary storm water drain, culverts, bridges and allied works is spread out to all 8 zones and Kormangala valley of BBMP limits. Till the year 2016 only 177.00 kms of SWD were improved or constructed. The flood affected areas were taken up as top priority and the construction of drains were executed. The core zones namely East, West and South have lined canals but the outer zones which had kachha drains are to be improved to avoid flooding to the localities. The vulnerable locations of about 209 in number are tackled and 184 locations will be tackled within the year 2021 thereby making Bangalore a flood free area. The challenge is to remove the encroachmnets over and along the Storm water drain alignment and to identify the alignment in the outer zones. The land surveyors of revenue department have identified the alignment for the department to construct the SWD. As a pilot project, Kormangala valley has been chosen for Development and Beautification of K-100 from K.R Market to Bellandur Lake (nearly 9.4 Kms) to avoid sewage in the Storm water drain. The Vrishabhavathi primary valley will be proposed to be developed in the similar manner."

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U), a flagship Mission of Government of India being implemented by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), was launched on 25th June 2015. In case the beneficiary repays 50% of the loan sanctioned within the specified period of 36 months. In case the beneficiary fails to repay the loan within the period of 36 months, the ‘back end subsidy’ will also be considered as loan.

Mojini is a Web based application developed in house by the department to monitor licensed surveyors scheme and government surveyor activities. All the citizens services are monitored through Mojini application. Citizens can apply for 11E sketch, Haddbasth, Phodi, Conversion sketch etc., at the AJSK kendra and collect the sketches at AJSK kendra. On an average the department handles about 4 lakh applications every year.
In the state, communities such as Lambani (Banjara) Golla, Bovi, Nayaka, Soliga, Kadukuruba, etc people who have been resident in lands such as forests, hilltops, private land, government pastoral etc, for many years. These people have been living in such areas for so many years and have not come to the mainstream of the society. To bring them back to the main channel of the society and to lead them on the path of development, it is necessary to provide the infrastructure required for such unrecorded habitation, hence this project. The main aim of this project is to declare unrecorded habitation consisting of minimum 50 houses as new revenue village, regularise and grant of land to dwelling house along with site thereof and land immediately appurtenant to the dwelling house.
"A flagship project of Karnataka State Government is a Land Records management system. The project was inaugurated in the year 2000. Bhoomi project is a model project of the nation in handling land records in computerized system. Under this project, all the manual RTCs which prevailed at the time of data entry were digitized and made available to the citizen. Facility is provided in the software to take the RTC & MR's printouts by paying the prescribed fee through e-payment, wherever Printer and Internet facility is available. All the ownership or any other changes in the RTCs are carried out by using Bhoomi software A web service has been provided to farmers/citizen to raise application for mutations like Inheritance, Podi, Pledge & Release, Alienation & Land Acquisition."

The sole purpose of the project is to rejuvenate ground water table by filling prominent MI tanks which seldom gets filled during monsoon. Filling of tanks in Kushtagi taluk of Koppal district by lifting water from Krishna River for ground water development and drinking water purpose. Project is envisaged to lift water from the fore shore of Narayanapur Reservoir (Basavasagara Reservoir) to fill 15 tanks in Kushtagi Taluk of Koppal District. Nidasheshi tank used as drinking water source. The contemplated utilization for the project is 0.526 TMC .
" The sole purpose of the project is to rejuvenate ground water table by filling tanks. The work of Filling of 38 tanks in Hoskote taluk, Bangalore Rural District from 25 MLD of secondary treated water from K.R.Puram(lift-1), Medihalli STP using 15 MLD of secondary treated water (Lift-2) and 3 MLD of secondary treated water from Kadugodi STP (Lift-3). The main purpose of this project is to feed 43MLD of STP water to 38 tanks of drought prone areas of Hoskote taluk of Bangalore Rural District which increases the under ground water table which in turn benefits the agricultural lands, by increasing the water levels in openwells borewells located in the downstream of the tank. The project is about laying of Raising main of total 51 KM estimated cost of Rs.149.85 Crores. The project is started on 08/02/2021 and will be compelete by 07/08/2022. "

"The Scheduled Castes land less agricultural labourers are provided land under land purchases scheme. The unit cost is Rs.15.00 lakhs out of which 50% subsidy and 50% loan at 6% interest repayable in 15 years. In Bangalore, Ramanagar, Kolar and Chikkaballapur Districts unit cost is Rs. 20.00 lakhs. Whatever extent of area is possible within the unit cost is provided."
"The scheme aims to encourage Scheduled Castes youth to take up self employment by providing loan and subsidy. Under Self employment scheme Rs. 25,000/- is given as loan and Rs.25,000/- as subsidy for micro economic activities. Under Bank linked scheme maximum Rs. 2.00 lakhs will be given as subsidy."
Irrigation facility is provided to small and marginal Scheduled Castes farmers by drilling borewells. Unit cost is Rs.3.50 lakhs out of which Rs. 3.00 lakhs subsidy and Rs.50000/- loan at 6% interest. In 6 Districts where ground water level is very low Rs.4.00 Lakh Subsidy and Rs. 50,000/- Loan.
Post Matric Scholarship includes day scholarship, Fee reimbursement & maintenance of hostellers. Scholarship is disbursed through state scholarship portal to the Aadhar seeded. Bank Account of the Scheduled Castes students.Fee re-imbursement is also provided for post matric students. Post matric annual income limit is Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
